She Learns How to Ride a Bike

First of all, I know how it sounds.

What? You say. How can she not know how to ride a bike.

This is not easy to admit, but...we are terrible parents. While our kids can snowboard down black diamond trails, run 5K's, and play soccer all day long, they can't do any normal activities: bike riding, skateboarding, rollerblading. At least, they can't do any of these actvities well.

So, today, our goal was to get the kids on a bike. Hell, it was Easter Sunday, and we had nothing else to do at GG's (Grandma's house), so we loaded up the bikes, sans training wheels, and gave it a whirl.

Down the potholed streets of Old Town Murrieta, Clint ran behind Cha in her quest to conquer her pink, two-wheeled beast. It only took her 1/2 hour. I was so proud of her!

Why didn't I do this sooner? She asked.

Hmm. I wonder...
